- "You should be easy game!"
- —Brennan Barkley
Brennan Barkley is an original character designed by Coopergang1. Brennan Barkley resides in the Knock on Wood universe.
Barkley is a local troublemaker and experienced hunter working at the nearby mill. He was enlisted by General Ryvok to take down Woodrow.
All that is known of Barkley's past is that his parents owned and possibly built a mill on the main Arboria river, and he inherited it when his parents became too old to operate it. He is also a barfly and alcoholic, frequently starting brawls and stirring up trouble landing him in a cell at the jail. He was hired by Ryvok to assassinate Woodrow, but Woodrow won the fight and sent him to the Arboria Central Jail, where he still serves time.
Barkley is a bipedal Doberman Pinscher. He has a thin brown beard mimicking the fur pattern of real Dobermans. He wears a green flannel shirt rolled up to his elbows, an orange hunting vest, and an orange trucker cap.
Barkley is very arrogant and short-tempered. He starts fights with anyone, and is confident in his ability to hunt.
- Marksmanship: Barkley's biggest advantage is his expert level marksmanship and ability with a shotgun.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat: Barkley has been in his fair share of bar fights, and has learned to handle himself well.
- General Ryvok: Hired Barkley.
- Woodrow: Contract
- Chief Schnauzer: Often arrests Barkley.
- Since animals are the dominant species in Arboria, Barkley's game is usually insects.
